Most recent projects include publishing OWww! Traveling with Chronic Pain by award-winning cartoonist Wendy Brown on Amazon. This book skillfully takes the reader on a humorous journey from the couch to international travel, providing tips on how to live and explore with a very non-humorous debilitating condition: chronic pain.
The first book with Wendy was a short-run print, called “105 Editorial Cartoons”. It was self-published using First Choice Books in Victoria. This book was focused specifically on Powell River as each cartoon had been published in the Powell River Peak newspaper between 2005 and 2015. Almost all 100 copies sold within two weeks.
Another recent project was copyediting a sailing book. Sailing the South Seas by Alice Dews is approximately 190 pages has 12 chapters and many stories. It is a personal history of cruising, particularly around the South Pacific, for the author and her husband.
And, one more. For the Devil has Come with Great Wrath is a powerful debut novel by author Emma Plant. It is the first in a series following the adventures of Emma, an everyday woman, thrown into chaos as Earth becomes the fighting ground for God and the Devil. Beautiful descriptions of fairies, witches, demons and a fantasy world await.
